We work with the social workers at Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital (RACH) to give small grants to newly and previously, diagnosed families. These can cover, but are not limited to, travel expenses, additional utility expenses, additional requirements for other children in the family, school supplies if a long hospital stay is required, buffer funds if the parents are self employed, vehicle repairs etc. We are able to respond quickly. ​We also fund The Rainbow Trail; these beads represent procedures, interventions and outcomes and are given to each child as they start and then move through their cancer journey. We are also working with the nurses at RACH to develop an end of treatment keepsake for children who have beaten their cancer or for parents who have tragically lost their child.
